The weather is getting warmer and my beard is getting thicker. This should be an interesting summer. The good news is that I am feeling about 90% better which means Nick will be able to make fun of me in person soon. Anyway, for those keeping score at home...your $21 is due. Thanks again for all those who are donating or are planning to donate, or just saying some awesome prayers out there. Nick has so far not been sick and not had to go back to the hospital. He's lost a bit of hair, but otherwise he's doing great. He's the man.

Wow. I can't believe you're so furry already. Hopefully Nick will be cancer-free soon and you can get your slick face back! From the looks of what you've got going on I'm guessing that Gilette is losing money as we speak.
Oh yeah, they are mere weeks away from filing chapter 7.
Mauri, I think the beard complements your face nicely. What a great idea for raising money. I love that I can watch the weekly metamorphosis. If all goes well, I won't have to watch it for long. Take care.
I just read the bulk of Nick's blog. I was moved to tears. I can't imagine watching Frankie or Mollie endure that at any age, let alone so young. Nick's adorable and you are lucky to have each other.
Thanks Jen. You're right, the beard is cool but Nick is way, way cooler. If I was going through what he is, I would be a gooey ball of self pity. I'm not ashamed to admit that Nick at 13 is better than me at 31. Big time.
Pretty cool....13 and 31. I think there is something in those two numbers.
